Star GazingWords spill from the speakers Poetry and a bass line, Love and a lifeline.Star Gazing
Nights spent staring at the sky Waiting until the sun came up, For the world to grow colder.
Warmth was in the night When lips moved over your skin, As the words do now.
Stars, lips , words, Scars, hearts, bruise Half healed hurts ripped open,
A blade covered in regret, failure, And remorse.
Words spill from the speakers Poetry and a bass line Love was your lifeline.

City of AngelsLies were always beautiful,City of Angels
when they spilled from your mouth. Cheap words. Bought for a dime a piece, Believed for nothing.
You were never here, You were there, In that smoke filled city, At that cheap hotel Those stained sheets that made me nothing but a whore.
You lay there and you promised the world, But your world was not mine. Yours was one of lies. The truth came at too high a price, When compared to the worthless words you whispered.
Broken wings lined the streets, In the city of Angels, Where no one was flying h

I Don't Know You AnymoreI stared at the mirror blankly wondering, for the millionth time it seemed, what I was doing. Hair, perfect. Make up, check, earrings, stunning. So what was I doing? I studied my face intently, hoping to maybe find the answer there. Age hadn’t started to show on me yet so why did I feel so damn old? Looking at my reflection, the flowers in the background caught my eye, they were beautiful, he had picked them out, along with the earrings as a gift. As beautiful as they were though, something did not seem quite right, dismissing it I returned to the intense scrutiny of my face, still not sure what I was looking for. My skin was perfect, flawlesI Don't Know You Anymore

Static PrevailsShattered remnants of long ago dreamsStatic Prevails
Broken glass all over the rain washed streets, I take a step now and cut my feet,
My blood is too bright against the cold grey of my world with you
Memories of a time when words you spoke could be trusted,
Of a time when I could trust them
Do you remember when we would smile? Do you remember what that felt like?
Static prevails on the radio, I switch the station to hear the DJ play a song we once sang together, Things will go on the same.
You will ask me the same questions, I will give you the usua

It Is SheIt Is SheIt Is She
It is she Who holds me up With arms like those of God High above the toil It is she Who delivers passion on platters Fruits of love Torn from the soil It is she She holds my hand I hold her heart I watch her love me The love from which I’ll never part It is she

Gutter.I remember the days when sunshine Spilled across your face, Danced within your eyes And heart And soul. Worthless tired remanents Of youthful indecision.Gutter.
The words don't fit my mouth the way they used to. Crumbling through some tired Gutless conversation - Why is reality so harsh and distant? You're distant... You're distance.
Take a breath, close your eyes And fall backwards to the dust On the basement floor, Clutching a requiem between your teeth.
Unblinking eyes. Shaking Hands. Empty truths at ten past midn

In the embrace of ghosts I linger Where naked passion spills Where death becomes an art form Where the artist's he who kills
In the embrace of ghosts I linger Where scars recoiled appear As the orchid consumes the sun As life arrives here
In the embrace of ghosts I linger As a dove flies overhead As candles burn and wheels turn I wait here in my head
In the embrace of ghosts I linger Each lai
